What this website collects, which is nothing, and what happens to your details when you get in touch about a £399 website.
I am Albert Sola. I build websites under the name Tardix, and this page explains what happens to your details when you get in touch about one.
It is short, because this website is deliberately simple. There is no contact form, no account to create and no database. Nothing you do on this site is recorded by it.
Who is responsible for your data
Albert Sola, trading as Tardix, is the data controller. He is a sole trader, so the controller is a person rather than a company, and Tardix is the name the work is done under.

What this website collects
Nothing.
There is no form on this site. Every button is a phone link, a messaging link or an email link, all of which hand you over to your own phone or mail app. The site itself stores nothing about you.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and makes no third-party requests. There is no analytics, no advertising tracking, no embedded video, no map, no font loaded from somebody else’s server and no social widget. That is why there is no cookie banner asking you to agree to any of it.
That is a fact about this site, not a general claim about websites. It is also one of the things being sold: the same approach is available on the site I would build for you.
What I collect when you get in touch
Once you call, message or email me, I have whatever you sent. In practice that is:
- your name, and the number or address you contacted me from
- your business, and what you told me about it
- anything you sent me to use on the site — words, photographs, a logo
- what we agreed, and what you paid
I use it to quote for the work, to do the work, and to keep the records a business has to keep. I do not sell it, and I do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
Who else sees it
Building and hosting a website means some of it passes through other companies. For a site I build for you, that is the domain registrar and the hosting provider, and — if you ask for them — the Google services that make a site findable.
Nobody else gets your details, and nothing about you is sold on to anybody at all.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work: kept while there is a reasonable chance of picking the conversation back up, then deleted.
Work that happened: kept for as long as the tax and company record-keeping rules require, because that part is not optional.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Ring or email and I will do it — there is no process and no form.
If you think I have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though I would rather you told me first so I can fix it.
